I thank you for stopping by this tiny slice of the internet that I call my own. My name is Bilen Araya and I am the Program director & primary provider here at Magnolia Daycare. A paralegal by trade, prior to COVID, going back into childcare was never on my radar. However, as a mother of 5 children, ranging in ages 2-7 at the time of the pandemic, when school shut down, I knew I could not allow my children to fall behind.

Having attended Montessori schools all of their lives, Zoom as a means for education was not an option for them.

During the pandemic, I  homeschooled them using Montessori methods. As all of them came out of the pandemic ahead of their class and with a genuine love for learning, I came out with a purpose.

 

This was the beginning of my journey as an educator. I opened Magnolia Daycare in my home in September of 2026. As I go into our 3rd year in business, I have been blessed with the pleasure of working with many families who share my values of creating upstanding & educated citizens out of the children we guide.
